 My sweet little Angels newest accomplishment is using her sippy cup. I give it to her with water and juice when we got out for our walks. She is really not that good at it yet, but she is learning. I am so proud! She is such a big BABY girl! 

Brooklyn's First Date (PlayDate)

Thanks to my friend Roxy, Nick and I got some much needed mommy\daddy  time! Roxy asked if she could watch Brooklyn over at her house, so that she could play with Riley. Riley is the son of a friend of mine and Roxy's. Riley is a month and a half older than Brooklyn. He is such a adorable little boy and I just love him. Here are some pictures of their "first date"!

FIVE Months!

Brooklyn hit the five month mark yesterday! All I can say is that time is going by way to quickly. She is developing quit the little personality. She loves her feet. She just can't get enough of them. She grabs onto them with her hands. I love to bring them up to her face and "slap" her with her own feet. She just giggles at that. Brooklyn is getting all sorts of baby food. She really hasn't rejected any. She is on formula now. A couple of weeks ago I started noticing a decline in my milk production, then I got my cycle so I started her on formula. She didn't like the first one I tried but I found one she really likes and takes without a problem. I am so proud of her. She still doesn't sleep through the night. She will sleep for about 5 or 6 hours and then wake up for a feeding. She likes to be held still. She will let you know when she is hungry or poopie, but other than that she is really just a happy baby. She has the most sweetest smile I have ever seen. I could just look at her all day long. I am just smitten. When she wakes up in the morning and she smiles at me I just melt. It is the greatest part of my day. I can't wait for her to say mommy or I love you. I am just amazed by my baby girl.

A work in progress! (Part One of Many!!)

Well after two and a half years we are finally starting the renovation on our backyard. We have started laying the sprinkler lines and this morning they have started the frame for laying the foundation of our patio. I am so excited. I can't wait to have a patio, a bbq, and a place to put Brooklyn's little swing set.

This was Brooklyn's second trip out of the state of Nevada. It was her first trip to California. We got in the car around noon and got home around 6. Brooklyn did so good in the car all day except the last 20 minutes. She had a little mini meltdown. 

And yes her bow does match her pants! 

Brooklyn Eats Peas! Yummy!?

Brooklyn all set up ready for her big dinner! Peas! I hate peas and Nick loves them so who knows how Brooklyn will react.

She is playing with the idea of actually swallowing them!

No tears yet! Peas are a success.

A couple more days of peas and we will try something else. Maybe sweet potatoes!

FOUR Month Stats!

Yesterday Brooklyn went to the doctor to get her shots and a well check up!
She did really good. She started her morning off in a really great mood. (First Picture) Then her daddy picked her up from Johnell's and was off to the doctor. She did so good. Very little tears. Dr. Ishibashi says she is right on track developmentally. She also said her eyes are really blue and most likely won't change colors. I am crossing my finger Brooklyn will be a blue eyed baby.

*13 pounds and 7 ounces (50th percentile)

*23 3/4 inches long (75th percentile)

*16 1/2 Head circumference (75th percentile)

*Love her rice cereal

*Can hold up her own bottle

*Likes to play in her bouncer

*Has the sweetest smile EVER

*Smiles first thing in the morning

*Rolls over

*Went up to a size 2 diaper

*Loves to giggle and laugh

*Drools up a storm

*Hates the swing now

*Sleeps an average to 6 hours at night

*Likes to watch Baby Einstein

*Not to fond of the high chair yet

*Hates not to be sitting upright

*Melts her mothers heart

Amazing Advancements!

My little Brooklyn can hold up her own bottle. Seriously! She is only four months old! She is growing up way too fast.

We had such a great day! We went over to some friends house and had a little bunch and sat in the sun. It was such a beautiful day. Brooklyn slept through the egg hunt. She really loved her Easter basket's and was amazed by the eggs. It was a great first Easter for my little love bunny.

Four Months of Love

It is hard to believe that just four months ago she joined my life. Brooklyn has given me so much love and happiness. I can't imagine life without her. She has just the sweetest disposition. She wakes up ALWAYS with the biggest smile on her little face. She love to laugh and is very vocal. She will go to the doctor on Tuesday at 2pm so I will post her stats later. It is also Easter. I will post her Easter pictures later. I haven't got a chance to take pictures with her baskets because we went over to Johnell and Justin's house for Easter. Brooklyn and Mommy at an Easter Celebration. My happy little bundle of baby love. She just makes me smile every time I look at her. Brooklyn had such a long day she was very ready for her nap. She is sleeping well in her own bed.

Little Milestone!

With Brooklyn turning FOUR months on this Sunday I decided to test the waters with rice cereal. She is getting ready to go in her high chair.

The first bite! I think she is liking it! She has a little nose flair! (I have no clue where she gets that from!!)

Finally, we are done! She ate her whole bowl. Not to big of a mess! 

She LOVED the cereal! 

I can't believe she is already sitting in her high chair and eating cereal. 

Pretty soon she won't need me!

SAD! My baby is growing up soooo FAST!
